A rock is solid.  When we refer to a person as a rock, we might use adjectives like strong, solid, and reliable.  We all desire the stability of a rock in our lives.  Jesus has offered to be that rock, so that in times of joy and sorrow we may lean on Him and find strength, comfort, and reliability.  With arms open wide at the peak of a mountain, He invites you to lean on Him, as you would a rock.   This is an original modern Christian art painting of Jesus smiling with standing arms open wide at the peak of a mountain.  A part of the Red Rock Series.
