DESCRIPTION:
 
Inspired by the worship song, “The lion and the Lamb”.  The roar of a lion would generally warn someone to turn and go another direction.  In revelations the roaring lion of Judah comes to avenge the innocent lamb of God.  The bible promises that every creature on earth will bow and kneel to Jesus.  In this painting the fierce lion and innocent lamb bow in humble reverence with heads together to our Lord and savior Jesus.  The lion is often called “king of the forest”.  Jesus is King-of kings and often represented as both a lion and sacrificial lamb.  In this modern Christian art, the lion here has a tear in its eye because of his love for the lamb and His suffering.  This painting is a reminder of both the innocence and fierceness of our God.  In the end, the bible promises that “Every Knee Will Bow” to king Jesus.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C9ujBoud26k
